Icy bird pattern and Slavic makeup โ„๏ธ

Here I am wearing another beautiful rag – a skirt with a wonderful bird print. The brand on the label is unknown to me – adL – made in Turkey.

Alpaca coat – extinct Estonian brand – Mosaic.

Merino knit – Ivo Nikkolo – Estonian design as well.

Boots – Massimo Dutti.

And these cute gloves from Coop ๐Ÿ™‚

Now, I got too many pictures here, but since I put a lot of effort into my Slavic make-up experiment and the weather was also nice and everything went together nicely, let it be.

This is how my first post of the year turned out.
But in general, what do I plan to do differently in my outfit this year?
As usual – to spend less and sensibly, recycle, dress exactly the way I like and not go along with every fast passing trend.
Plus – during discounts, I only buy those items that are already on the wish-list.

Soon I will add a post with my amazing new coat from Zara – ZW COLLECTION MANTECO WOOL COAT KHAKI | 2109/751

Let’s hope the Year of the Dragon comes in with a bang with lights and whistles. Here I am once again wearing the golden set from 1978, which I got from my partner’s 93-year-old grandmother. I’ve been wearing it a lot lately and I think it’s also perfect for welcoming the Year of the Dragon.

Elegant ladies never wear cute Xmas knits! ๐ŸŽ„โ›”

Thatโ€™s what my biggest style idol has said – elegant ladies must not wear cute Xmas-theme knits.

But this vintage knit (probably someone’s handwork) got my eye. The design is so overkill, that it looks somehow stylish to me and reminds me old and real Christmas time, when everyone had warmth and goodness in their souls and brings back to the days, when it wasn’t just a commerce holiday.

But wearing such a knitwear is quite a challenge. Why? Because of the rule of three colors applies in clothing – it is not appropriate to wear more than three colors at the same time. Probably nobody wants to look like a walking Christmas tree. So what to do, if you have still bought a cute Xmas knit and intend to wear it despite someone’s opinion. How to debug this error here – I tried to style this sweater with a neutral color. At a normal case, I would have picked one of the three sweater’s colors and chosen the rest of the outfit in that color. But, for me personally, here three of those three colors would have been too weird to wear from head to toe. I also consciously chose the trousers (from Zara) with a textured fabric, to tone down the glory of the sweater.

Here I have new coat from Zara, made of Italian premium quality fabrics. With larger fit than usual, so for me nicely oversized. Here I wear it with Massimo Dutti belt.

Also the handbag is new (someone’s old)

The owl I just got while on the way, for Christmas tree decoration.

Today’s catch from rag shops

I had a regular Saturday morning’s rag tour with my girlfriend. This time I got dressed from head to toe with new rags. So here I have new hat, new wool blazer and new boots. The bag I received yesterday, ordered from my secret vintage shopping place. All of these items were very cheap, the boots cost 3.5 euros, the hat, I don’t remember anymore, but 2-3 euros and this unique blazer 7 euros. The cost of the leather bag was around 13-14 euros. Someone hasn’t used his car for a while, so I used it for the background for my photos.

The colors of autumn

Meanwhile, it was already getting cold and the ground was covered with a white carpet of snow, but the trees are still decorated with beautiful yellow leaves. The first snow melts, as always, but with the arrival of snow, the fall season is almost over and I will miss wearing all the blazers which I didn’t photograph this time. But luckily, I had a woolen Escada blazer waiting, ordered from my secret place, and now I’m wearing it.

So here I wear,

Escada wool blazer from my secret vintage shopping place

Vintage leather bag

Massimo Dutti belt and boots

Guess REBORN DENIM jeans made from recycled cotton fibers

Laurel vintage blazer

I’m not a fan of bomber jackets at all, but when I saw this item in rags, I thought, what the hell is this and tried it on.

The day was of course super windy again ๐Ÿ˜›
