Topshop embroidered hem maxi dress in black

It was midsummer night and I found my locust! But this time it was turtle-shaped 🐢

What a luck, I still can’t believe it.. A while ago someone snapped this turtle bag from my secret vintage website and I had to accept the fact that I should somehow continue my life without it. But probably the person has returned it.. for the cutie to find the right owner ❤️❤️❤️

Come to mommy little one.. now you are mine.. ❤️🐢

Going to a wedding

I’m going to my best friend’s daughter’s wedding with this outfit. The dress is pre-loved and has been sewn as a special project. I bought it from a person who is well aware of fashion and active in Estonian fashion scene. So I could say – it’s a designer dress. Again, this is a proof that beautiful things don’t necessarily have to cost the soul. And, I don’t have to creep around corners scared that maybe someone else is wearing the same dress. The dress has originally other belt – rope style black twist bine with fringed tassels at the ends. But it’s a bit slippery material and I also tried to avoid black color at the wedding. So I have here my faithful companion, for long years – Gucci belt. Since there is a bit of walking around town, I wanted to wear comfortable shoes and this time I chose Tommy Hilfiger’s practical wedges. Bag is from Mango, which actually reminds me Ferragamo and Coccinelle..

Bird-patterned dress attracted those interested..

Back to the theme.. 🙂

What can I say – here’s another money-robber beauty from Zara, that’s been waiting in the box for some time. For today maybe sold out already.

This lovely bag is very similar to the Gucci Dionysus, but it’s actually from my secret vintage e-shop. High quality leather bag. I will soon add the banner to my site (if this cooperation is still active for me..), where you can get similar ones. I’ve been a little lazy with my IT guy and haven’t added it yet..

Like a parrot 🦜- wide leg trousers and knot front shirt from MOHITO

Amazing set from MOHITO 🙂

I don’t usually shop at a store like this, but I was walking by and couldn’t miss this beautiful display of green, colorful parrot patterned clothing. For me, this outfit is quite a bold choice and I considered it for a long time before buying it. But the cut of these pants was very beautiful with nice slits on the sides. I also bought a short dress with the same pattern to wear outside the city, for example on summer days-off in Viljandi..

Of course, it’s the perfect set for a trip to the south. But I would dare to wear these pants everyday, combined with black or white top (not this green one and not with bright pink either..)

Here shown, what big pattern does to a small lady..

The print of this dress isn’t sharp and the colors are also not quite right, but actually the dress is quite cute and I’m sure I wear it. Hope the fashion police doesn’t arrest me 😬

Not allowed! ⛔

.. to wear big patterns, especially if you are a small woman 🙂

Here I perform an experimentation, on my own skin, to see, if the style mistakes being told about so much, hold the true.

The dress is ordered from China, AliExpress. The quality is actually really good and in my opinion, the dress is quite nice. I expected the other dress, which I have ordered, with panda bear, to be the same quality, but the the print was very bad there. I ordered the other dress mainly because I have weakness for frogs. But the frogs are not so visible there. Maybe I’ll make photos of the other dress too.

Style error number two here is, that “there is no expensive looking pattern!” – that’s what my favorite influencer/the queen of elegance has said 🙂

Number three – animal prints (prints, not the patterns) don’t belong into elegant ladies wardrobe! This is also said by the lady mentioned above 🙂

Vintage peacock dress

From Humana Vintage store. Brand Heart of Haute. Made in USA with the world’s finest materials. Size XL (I didn’t know I’m that big 😛). The textile is really beautiful, the pattern has a golden contour, not so visible on the photos..

And I just bought these shoes from Zara’s new collection..

HOW TO LOOK EXPENSIVE, THE QUIET LUXURY, OLD MONEY, NEW MONEY, HOW TO LOOK EXPENSIVE ON THE BUDGET, HOW TO LEVEL UP.. 😑

.. all of those topics are very actual lately.. like the question of life and death 😬

Why is so important to look EXPENSIVE.. I wouldn’t wear ugly things, but there are days when I personally want to wear some cute rags (maybe even a bit trashy looking), which I think is like a lovely bohemian style.

Sometimes some clothes or accessories have the history and emotional value, which makes it expensive, even, if this may look cheap for someone. I think it’s OK to wear rags and some things look even more expensive, when these are bitten by the teeth of time – like my over 40 years old handbag (which actually wasn’t very cheap..)

Anyway, here I have an experimentation, how to put together and make cheap priced second hand rags to look more expensive. I think these look good as separate items too, but I mixed and matched these a little bit with expensive belt (Gucci Blondie Interlocking wide belt from Farfetch – which probably may be classified under quiet luxury items, as the logo there is quite modest and very sophisticated) and Tommy Hilfiger shoes, no, cheap shoes + expensive looking, but cheap Mango bag (I think it’s a bit similar to Ferragamo style 🙄). The shoes I bought last year as the last pair, from a random store, but I found the same shoes today and bought a spare pair, just for case..

This dress just got my eye in the rag store and it seems to be Russian design, brand Glenfield. And I added here a blouse (also from rag store, actually from the department of bigger ladies, size 40, brand named Vintage Stories). For me it’s like a kimono style jacket and I have such a weakness towards bird prints.
